POP! is an independent rhythm game powered by open-source technology. The game client and underlying framework are derived from open-source software licensed under the MIT License originally created by ppy Pty Ltd.

2. Trademark Disclaimer

POP! is an entirely independent community project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with ppy Pty Ltd or the official osu! game.

"osu!" and "ppy" are trademarks of ppy Pty Ltd. Any descriptive references to third-party game formats or rulesets are made solely for interoperability and technical compatibility identification under nominative fair use.

3. Non-Commercial Status & Resource Attribution

POP! is provided completely free of charge without subscription fees, paywalls, or commercial sales.

Default audio hitsounds and interface resources in the engine are licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International (CC-BY-NC 4.0). POP! fully respects this license by ensuring the project remains strictly non-commercial.

4. DMCA & Content Takedown Procedure

POP! does not create, host, or claim copyright ownership over any songs, beatmaps, or associated background audio files. Content indexed by or played within the game is created by third-party community beatmappers and served via public community mirrors.

We respect all intellectual property rights and operate in full compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent international copyright laws. If you are a copyright holder or authorized agent who believes that any material accessible through our service infringes upon your copyright, please submit a notice containing:

Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
Specific identification of the URL, song title, or beatmap ID you wish to have removed or blocked.
Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, and email address).
A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A physical or electronic signature of the authorized copyright holder or representative.
